I hear this alot. I know the economy is down. It takes 2 people working in a household to make enough money to support your family. I know it seems like a lot to spend for Shakeology 1`19 plus tax or a program 119 plus tax (for the higher end ones). But lets break this down.
Do you eat out everyday when you are at work?
Do you get a coffee every morning?
Do you smoke?
These are just a few things to take in to consideration when it comes to spending money.
Lets say you eat out everyday and you eat Subway. That is a 6 dollar meal. (Thats only if you get the sandwich right?) Ok so thats 6 dollars a day times 5 days a week. that 30 dollars a week now thats do that by the month. lets say you only eat out on the days you work
thats 20 days a month. Thats 120 dollars a month.
Shakeology is 120 dollars for a month supply. Do the math.
Lets get real with ourselves. I dont have the money, I dont have the time. These are just grown up excuses for the dog ate my homework. If it is important to you. As your health should be then you will make it work. Its not about the money. Its about the committment. Most of us dont want to make it because we are not ready to commit. It is a hard truth. Sometimes the truth hurts. So lets just admit we arent ready.

Shaketober- Is off the ground!

Are You wasting your time?
Ok heres a question for the day. Do you go to the gym? How Long have you been going? Do you go once, twice 6 days a week etc? Do you go on your own and make your own routine or do you have a trainer?
Ok now that you have answered that question. What have your results been like? Do you see major progress or do you feel like your not getting anywhere you are just staying the same?
I know several people who go to the gym on a regular basis and they havent seen any results. They stay the same. They dont gain weight but they dont gain muscle or loose weight either. Alot of the reasons behind this is because most people don't know what they are doing. I have been training for over 2 years now and I have never stepped foot in a gym and when I do unless I have a step by step guide telling me what to do I get lost. I have to be guided. That is why a trainer is so important. Especially if you want to see results.
I know some people say that they cant do at home fitness because they need someone to motivate them. But here is a thought. If you are going to the gym and you dont have a trainer, who is there motivating you? Did you know that having a fitness program at home is the same as having a trainer? Really? Well yes! Just because that trainer isn't physically in your house they are still training you. They take you step by step through each rep, through each move and tell you what to do. Even if you go to the gym you are not going to have atrainer there every day you go 6 days a week to stand over you and tell you to do it. But you will with a home fitness program and a coach. You have us 6 days a week or 7 days a week. Telling you what to do telling you you can do it. For half the price that you would pay a trainer. And still ultimately the results and the work are up to you. So saying that you arent motivated enough to do the work at home is an excuse. To have progress excuses are not allowed.

Don'T Fall into the Trap. We are in control!
As I was sitting on my floor painting my cabinets my mind began to wonder. Yes I know scary thought. lol
But I started to think about how the food industry and government manipulates us. How they continue to give us food that is full of preservatives, and gentically enhanced and pumped full of hormones.Those foods are so cheap and easily accessible. So of course in our busy lives of working and school work and etc, we will always go for the cheaper easier things to do. Anything to make life easier and to save us money. Then I started to think what good is that money to us if were dead?

I know money is tight and it is hard to pay for healthy food. But like I mentioned above. If you are sick because you havent taken care of yourself, how will you work? How will you take care of your children? Think about the money you would save on medications. Pharmacy companies do not want us to know that health and wellness can be found in the foods that grow naturally in the earth and not in a pill. Clean and healthy eating is medicine for the body. This is a scientific proven fact. But we as Americans in the hustle and bustle of everyday life only want to do what is easy and convenient. But we have to think long term here.
Just recently I lost my cousin, he was in his early 40's. He had a massive heart attack. He has a 90% blockage in his heart. He had a wife, and two young children. This is prime example of taking care of yourself. It isnt about what you look like or fitting into societies mold of what is fit. It is about being healthy externally and internally. We aren't just hurting ourselves we are hurting those around us. We hurt out family when we get sick or pass because we were unhealthy and didnt take the time to take care of ourselves. We hurt our children when we pass along the generational curse of Obesity and unhealthy eating habits. They in turn pass this to their children and its a never ending cycle.
So I am sure you are thinking. Well the industry put the foods out there and is accessible. What can we do? Easy! If we stop buying the unhealthy product and always go for the healthy the demand for foods full of chemicals, hormones, preservatives will disappear. There will be no supply. When companies see that we wont buy them then they wont supply them. In turn this will make healthy foods more easily accessible and more affordable. We wont be paying into the system not just with our food choices but our health services as well. There will be less need for medications and doctors. Which in turn will save you money.
We the consumers are in control. We make the decisions. We demand the product. So think about it. What will save you more money in the long run, Give you more time, give you more energy? You know the answer. Now we just have to act on it.
No excuses. Be the change you want to see in the world. Take that first step. Be Healthy.

Insanity Challenge!!!
Good Morning Everyone! I have come to a conclusion that I need lean muscle mass. I am repeating insanity for another time to develop long lean muscles and develop some serious definition. Beachbody Training and Body Beast Workout in Dallas Texas
Yesterday I went to Dallas Texas to attend a Beachbody Training. I always feel so pumped when i leave being around so many fit minded people that all have a journey and a story to tell all on their own. The trainings are amazing it really helps for motivation not just in fitness but in life and becoming a better goal oriented person. It was amazing. But it was also pretty amazing that Sagi Kalev himself was there, Body Beast Creator to lead us in a workout. He kicked our butts with a very uncoventional workout with a towel. Yes a towel. Not having weights is no excuse. We partnered up with someone and one person would hold the towel for resistance and the other would hold the towel and pull against their partner for resistance. I will work on getting a sample uploaded for people to be able to really see what I am talking about. It was great. No excuses and Whatever it takes. Here is a picture of me and Sagi and my personally sponsored coach and Sagi. It was a very memorable experience.

Beachbody Coach Summit 2012
In June I went to Las Vegas for the Beachbody Coach Summit. Summit is where all the coaches from around the world get to come together and learn more about Beachbody Products, get a first hand look at whats new, have trainings and meetings and meet and workout with those trainers that have personally helped us along our own journeys. To Dallas or Bust!
Tomorrow in the early am me and one of my personally sponsored coaches will be striking out to Dallas Texas, for a Beachbody Training on the new program to join the beachbody family, Body Beast. I just started this program so I am super excited to get to know all about it, the ins and outs, straight from the creator himself Sagi Kalev, and we also get to workout with The Beast! My week one review of Body Beast
Ok Guys, So I started Body Beast Monday I am almost through week one. What is Body Beast?
Body Beast is a new program released by Beachbody that is a mass Building Program.It is made just to build hard, lean muscle mass. I am sure people are wondering why I would want to do Body Beast. Well its simple. I want to build muscle. Muscle looks good on everyone and it is the foundation to weightloss. Muscle helps burn fat the more you have the more fat you will burn.
So far it is amazing. I love it. In the first week i have had a different video to do on everyday, to work a different set of muscles, for expample,
Day One: Chest and Tri's
Day Two:Legs
Day 3: Back and Bi's
Day 4: Cardio
Day 5: Shoulders
Day 6: Today- Chest and Tris
And so far everyday I have been sore so that is proof that it works. I am loving this program and how different it is when it comes to muscle building. It is set up to start lifting lighter doing high reps, then you do heaveir and drop the reps, and then you do a drop set heavy and then light back to back. It is the classic set up to build. I cant not wait until I am able to start seeing results and i think I will start seeing them as early as next week. The other big thing I love about this program is that I get to eat ALOT. 2100 calories and thats alot for me. So i feel like i am really getting to eat all day long and enjoy foods. Clean ones of course. This program is not just for men it is also made for women and women can adapt to using this plan also.
The guide explains everything from how to calculate your body fat index to your base metabolic rate, and so on. It is the perfect program for someone who doesnt wantto go to the gym and it takes minimal equipment. So far I am loving it. And with that being said, I am off for todays workout, Chest and Tris. I would love to have someone join me in getting ripped using this amazing program. The trainer is Sagi Kalev he won Mr. Israel 2 times and served in the Israeli military.

Work in Progress
Hey Everyone,
I have been doing some editing to my bog and adding and removing and I wanted you to know that right now it is a work in progress. It made me start thinking..... Aren't we all just a work in progress? We are constantly redefining ourselves and trying to make ourselves better than we were the day before. I mean isnt that the goal? To be better than we were yesterday? Well it is mine anyway. I believe that if we dont constantly try to improve ourselves, and not just physically, then we will grow stagnant in life and we will never progress. We will be comfortable and I think that there is not much worse than being comfortable. I know for me when i get comfortable with myself i begin to think that everything is ok. That I am as good as I will get, but I can always be better. There is so much more out there in life that I havent even come close discovering. So I know for me I am a work in progress, I will constantly be under construction, being torn down to be rebuilt again. Because I would like to grow and be a better person at all aspects in my life, a better friend, a better mother, a better coach, be more inspirational, be more caring, and one day when i get my certification, be a better trainer. So today I will continue to strive for that goal by setting priorities, my first priority is to finish a task once i start. That would be this blog at the top of my list. So i am halfway through, so almost mission accomplished for today. What are your goals and dreams to be a better person and to be the person that you want to become? Ultimate Reset
Ok so I tried to post daily but I didn't accomplish that. I also tried to post a few days ago but this forum wasn't cooperating with me so I had to delete all I typed, so I will briefly try again. I have been doing the Ultimate Reset from Beachbody for the past 18 days. I have 3 days left. There have been quite a few things that I have noticed since I started the reset, I have noticed that I didn't eat as well as I thought I did. I ate a lot of processed foods. Because it was quick and easy. Although I was making healthier choices as far as weight goes I wasn't making healthy choices that would last me a lifetime when it comes to overall good health. So this has been a wake up call of a sorts. My results? Well so far I have not lost weight but I have lost inches. Because I did keep my regular workout routine during this reset although it calls for 21 days of no working out, But I noticed that since I was eating better and all natural I am getting the nutrients that my body needs and can actually use to turn my body into a lean machine. I have stayed the same weight wise but I have leaned out because my body was able to transfer that food into energy and use that to build muscle. And I am loving the results, I have lost water weight and all bloating that I normally feel is gone. I have stomach issues and I am always feeling bloated and full no matter what I did. Well it was from the foods I have been eating. I haven't been bloated or retaining water or gassy. I dropped all forms of caffeine which the only caffeine I was getting was from pre workout supplements0 I stopped using those i feel better and have more energy without the caffeine than I did when I used it.
So my overall experience with The Ultimate Reset has been amazing. I have decided to make permanent changes to my diet and lifestyle to continue to grow and only get better in my fitness. Ok, I am on Day 7 of Beachbody's Ultimate Reset. Yes I should have been doing a video diary or blogging about it every single day, but I haven't. I know like I said in my recent post I haven't made it a priority. But I am now.
So what exactly is the Ultimate Reset? The Ultimate Reset is a 21 day cleanse. Now I say cleanse lightly because this doesn't contain harsh supplements and you are never hungry. You will follow a strict recipe guide and you eat and cook exactly like it is in the book.
This is a 100% clean eating transformation. You are filling your body with good all natural foods. Nothing processed. And after the first week its is a completely Vegan diet. No meat or dairy at all. The goal is to internally reset your body to factory conditions.
Kind of like when you buy that new car, you drive it off the lot and everything on it is factory, everything came straight from the dealer or manufacturer of the car. So it is pretty much perfect and engineered to work perfectly. Well we drive it for awhile, then we add things, like new radio, new exhaust, we put gas in it. We want to make this car better by adding foreign things to it, and every day wear and tear kinda runs our what used to be perfect machine down. It gets bogged down from the gas we put in it, or the oil, and etc. Well our bodies work the same way. We drink caffeine to stay awake, we eat processed foods because we don't have time to make meals from scratch, we drink pre-workout to make those workouts better. Well all the while our perfectly oiled machined that was great when we started is now bogged down by everyday wear and tear.
So this clean eating challenge helps clean out all those toxins and reset our body to perfect settings. I admit it isnt easy. It takes will power to get through those cravings of caffeine or chocolate. I have had a few set backs in week one that caused me too loose 3 lbs in 3 days then gain it all right back. I haven't lost but I havent gained. But I am reading posts from other re-setters, that have lost 10 lbs and they are on day 4!! These results will amaze you. I am loving clean eating, the recipes are all fantastic and I love making everything from scratch. So far i love the way I feel. I am no longer bloated or gassy. I have been in a good mood. My skin is clear and I have more energy than I have had when I drank caffeine. I do not want to go back to the way I was.

Its Been Awhile #2
Ok, I will admit I am terrible at keeping a blog. Its not that i dont like to write because I do. It is just because I do not set my priorities in order some times. Do you ever get that? Forget to do thing but then use the excuse I dont have enough time? I do all the time. But the real truth is if I would make time then I would have enough time.
How much time do we make to have a social life? How much time do we make to sit down and watch t.v.? These are all good things. We need time to ourselves, But spending time doing things that will help us grow as individuals is important too. This week I am dedicating time to writing in this blog. I hope that you hold me accountable to write and that you will be here to read.
What comittment will you make this week to make more time for? What is important to you?

ITS BEEN AWHILE

How do you know what to eat? Ask Tony
Eating, that is the topic. The question I always get is, what am I supposed to eat?
I always hear, I do not know what I am supposed to eat. You know your diet (not fad dieting, but your daily intake of food) is the key to successful fitness. Eating is 75% of your success exercising is only 25%. That means alot. It means that if you are working out, and going to gym and really busting it but you are making bad eating choices then you are wasting your time. Lean muscle can not appear if it is hiding behind a bad diet. So what are you supposed to eat?
Well it depends and instead of sitting here and giving you my tips and my eating guide, I want you to read this article by Tony Horton, fitness superman and creator of P90X and the new P90X2. He talks about how counting calories is good, to start but it can be tedious and time consuming and not something that you will want to do forever. Instead Tony says to listen to your body internally and it will tell you what to do. So bottom line You have everything you need to be a better and healthier you. No excuses. Beachbody Challenge: Are you Ready?!
Finally have me new workout room! Yay so syked! Alot of hard work put in, you know pointing fingers and telling people where and how things go is a tough job! lol I am loving it though, finally my own personal space to be motivated, and challenged. I am on week 3 of Les Mills Pump, the new beachbody workout program. I am loving it so far, I cant wait to see what the next months bring. Blah!
Ok peeps, I cant say that I feel great today. I slept late, I haven't eaten the best today and right now I am sleepy. I am trudging through this day waiting for the workday to be over. But I also know that when i clock out, my day is just starting. Its not over and I still have the ability to fix what I failed at today, I can make my supper healthy, I will get my workout in, and I can focus on what is really important to me, my fitness goal, my family, and my banging Beachbody coach consulting. So with that being said, even though some days we fail and feel miserable the next minute we have we have the chance to change our attitude and our outlook and turn it all around. So thats what I will do. Are you having a bad day? Just remember we all have those days, but it is up to you to make it different. What choice are you going to make today?

Wake Up
Oh my! I love my workouts but I do believe the hardest thing for me to do is to wake up and do a workout first thing in the morning. How many of you are Rise and Shine fitness fanatics? It is the best time of the day to workout, because the chances of interruptions are few because everyone else is asleep. It is definitely the thing I struggle with. This morning though I was awake, and I laid in bed and debated in my head. To get up pr not to get up, that is the question? I almost answered that question with a , not get up attitude. Then I decided, if I cannot make myself get up and workout in the am, who is going to motivate me me or help me? No one, I had to make a decision to do this, because I knew today was a busy day, and I wouldn't have time to squeeze it in between work, and homework, and family time, and supper. So i jumped up and I did it! Les Mills Pump, hard core abs. You know what?1 I felt amazing after. I made the decision to get moving and not just wake up my body, but also wake up my mind, my spirit, my motivation, and my confidence. Its that one small decision that day that makes a huge step towards my overall fitness and outlook on life. So what happens if we all just WAKE UP?!

Get Fit or Get Out!
I started my fitness journey 3 years ago, I had no idea what I was doing I just knew I wanted a change. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and I just jumped. I started weight watchers, and that helped me loose weight and taught me how to eat but it didn't get healthy. I lost 105 with weight watchers. But then I saw an infomercial for Insanity and I was like I have to have that. I had never done a fitness program in my life. I wasn't tone, so I started Insanity, and my results were amazing! I transformed my body and my health, I have never felt better. Now I have learned to make money from my fitness, I have turned my passion and life transformation into a business.
